Digital Marketing(Energy Storage & BMS)

 Responsibilities

  • Local Market Strategy: Adapt global marketing campaigns to resonate with the Kenyan and East African renewable energy market (Solar, EV, and BESS).
  • Lead Generation: Execute targeted LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns to identify and nurture B2B leads, including solar contractors and fleet managers.
  • Content Localization: Create engaging content-including case studies of local installations and video testimonials- that highlights Ligoo’s reliability in the Kenyan climate.
  • Community Management: Build and manage a local digital community of engineers and green energy enthusiasts through webinars and social media engagement.
  • Event Digital Support: Coordinate digital promotion for local trade shows (e.g., Solar Africa Expo) and regional product launches.
  • SEO & SEM: Optimize our regional web presence to ensure Ligoo is the top choice for search queries related to “Energy Storage Kenya” and “Lithium Battery BMS.”
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track local campaign performance and provide insights to the global team on market trends and competitor activity in Kenya.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in digital marketing, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in Solar, Construction, or Tech sectors in Kenya.
  • Platform Expertise: Proven track record with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Technical Savvy: Ability to understand and explain technical products like hybrid inverters and LiFePO4 batteries.
  • Communication: Flawless written and verbal English; proficiency in Swahili is a strong advantage for local content creation.
  • Creative Tools: Basic proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite for quick, high-quality social media production.

 

Information Security Expert

Safeguard our telecommunications and ICT infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of data protection, system security, and risk mitigation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Security Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage comprehensive security solutions covering AAA, Identity Management, and wireless security. Session & Roaming Security: Ensure robust protection for roaming and session environments against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Threat Monitoring & Response: Proactively monitor network traffic, identify vulnerabilities, and respond swiftly to security incidents.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Enforce industry security standards, conduct risk assessments, and recommend security enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, ICT, or a related technical field.

General Experience:

  • At least 7 years of general working experience in the Telecommunication or ICT sector. Specific Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience successfully implementing at least three (3) projects of similar complexity.
  • Specialized Training: Must possess professional training certificates in Network Security focusing on AAA, Identity Management, Wireless Security, and Roaming & Sessions Security.

Professional Certification:

  • Must hold a certified, industry-recognized certification in Network Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent).

 

Network Designer

The Network Designer drives the design, planning, and optimization of robust telecommunications and ICT network infrastructures. The role involves developing passive and logical network architectures, utilizing GIS tools for route mapping, generating technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM), and collaborating with engineering teams to oversee design implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive passive and logical network solutions tailored to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Utilize GIS planning software to map, analyze, and optimize network routes and site layouts.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, schematics, diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field engineers, and deployment teams to ensure seamless transition from design to implementation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, ICT, or a related technical field from a recognized university.
  • At least 7 years of general working experience within the Telecommunication or ICT sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years of specific, hands-on experience in network design.
  • Relevant professional certifications in GIS planning as well as Passive and Logical Network design.

 

Network Engineer

The Network Engineer will specialize in routing, switching, and wireless technologies to support, deploy, and maintain high- performance network infrastructures. The role focuses on optimizing enterprise connectivity, proactive monitoring, technical troubleshooting, and maintaining comprehensive infrastructure documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and optimize enterprise routing, switching, and wireless systems to ensure robust connectivity.
  • Monitor network performance, security, and uptime proactively to mitigate risks and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents, system faults, and performance degradation issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate network topology diagrams, system configuration backups, and detailed documentation of network changes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunication, ICT, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of general working experience in the Telecommunication or ICT sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years of specific experience implementing at least one project of similar nature and complexity.
  • Certified, industry-recognized network qualification such as CCNA, CCNP, or an equivalent credential.

 

Optic Fiber Specialist

The Optic Fiber Specialist drives the implementation, design, and configuration of high-capacity optical transmission networks. The role involves executing fiber deployments, performing fusion splicing and testing, carrying out quality assurance using OTDR and power meters, and maintaining detailed technical records of fiber paths and splice layouts

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and optimize optical transmission networks to ensure high- speed, reliable data transmission.
  • Oversee and execute fiber optic cable installation, cable routing, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct rigorous optical testing using OTDRs and power meters to verify link performance, measure attenuation, and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber paths, splice diagrams, and as-built documentation while providing technical support during network rollouts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Established industry track record of not less than 5 years in Telecommunications and ICT.
  • At least 3 years of specific experience in the design and configuration of optical transmission networks.

 

Power Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and execute electrical installation works, power distribution, and infrastructure setup in compliance with engineering and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system inspections, and technical troubleshooting of power systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Ensure all installation and maintenance activities adhere strictly to regulatory standards, codes of practice, and project safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and technical teams to align power requirements with project schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical an Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation works.
  • Possess a certified, industry-recognized certification in electrical installation or equivalent professional credentials (e.g., EPRA/ERC licensing).

 

Project Managers

We are seeking two (2) dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Project Managers to lead and oversee the successful delivery of complex Telecommunication and ICT infrastructure projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Delivery: End-to-end management of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Risk & Quality Management: Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain the highest standards of project quality. Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage project resources, teams, and technical deliverables aligned with project objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunication, ICT, or a related field from a university recognized in Kenya.
  • General Experience: A minimum of 10 years of general working experience in the Telecommunication or ICT sector.
  • Specific Experience: A minimum of 7 years of specific experience in the delivery of at least three (3) projects of similar nature and complexity.
  • Professional Certification: Must possess a relevant professional certification in nnitical certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent).

 

Structured Cabling Installer

RESPONSIBILITIES
