Administration Liaison Officer and Clinic Lead
Key Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks
Lead and coordinate daily clinic operations across all clinical and administrative functions.
Ensure efficient patient flow, scheduling and service coordination
Maintain adequate staffing levels and coverage
Supervise clinic staff to ensure patient-centered care that honors God.
Manage budgets, operational costs, and performance reporting.
Ensure compliance with Kenyan healthcare regulations and statutory requirements.
Act as liaison with SHA/KMPDC and other regulatory/government offices.
Oversee patient experience, complaints resolution, and service improvement.
Support licensing, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Ensure the clinic operates and provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered care within the designated operating hours at all times.
- Monitor clinic utilization, volumes, and service demand
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures exist for all functions and services
- Implement and monitor clinical protocols, infection prevention standards, medication safety practices.
- Develop and grow referral pathways both into the AGC Tenwek Hospital Karen clinic as well as to the AGC Tenwek Hospital and CTC for additional healthcare as needed.
- Ensure alignment with all hospital policies, protocols, and standards
- Monitor staff attendance and absenteeism.
- Ensure proper patient registration, eligibility verification, accurate coding and billing, and claims submission
- Timely follow up on claim approvals and denials
- Ensure proper billing procedures and financial integrity protocols
- Work with clinic staff and patients and their families to handle any patient complaints
- Ensure the clinic and its facilities, equipment, stationery like prescription notes used and other supplies are adequately branded,
- Ensure all the required licenses are obtained, remain current and are displayed within the clinic premises,
- Regularly review of quality standards and take necessary steps to ensure compliance of the clinic under various regulations, laws and authorities e.g. County Government, Licensing bodies
- Ensuring that the clinic has the required medical equipment and optimal utilization and repair in case of breakdown or malfunction
- Act as a liaison with insurance providers, regulatory bodies, and other key groups as needed.
- Ensure all regulatory body guidelines are met for clinic care, pharmacy, radiology, and lab services
- Ensure all staff at the clinic have up to date licenses and are in good standing
- Oversee supply chain and resource management activities
- Work closely with counterparts in the AGC Tenwek Hospital for continuous communication, resolution of issues, implementation of new policies, etc.

Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Public Health, or related field.

Cardiac Sonographer
Job Purpose
- The Cardiac Sonographer provides echocardiography services to ensure patients receive high-quality care, in alignment with AGC – Tenwek CTC policies, prevailing regulations, and the mission to honor God through service.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Patient Care & Communication
- Review patient medical records, including history, lab results, and requisition orders.
- Obtain and verify clinical information to ensure exam accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain procedures, support health outcomes, and enhance patient experience.
- Provide emergency care using basic support protocols until advanced care teams arrive.
- Share critical patient information with physicians and clinical teams, highlighting abnormal findings.
Equipment & Facility Management
- Request maintenance of echocardiography and electrogram machines; ensure optimal working conditions.
- Maintain exam area cleanliness and adequate stock of supplies.
Training & Mentorship
- Train and mentor junior staff in basic echocardiography skills.

Clinical & Echocardiography-Specific Skills
- Perform 2D, color flow, and spectral Doppler echocardiography to evaluate cardiac lesions, hemodynamic significance, and pathology.
- Recognize abnormal findings requiring urgent review; inform interpreting physicians of significant changes.
- Respond to emergency exams in ICUs, wards, ER, catheterization labs, and operating rooms.
- Operate ultrasound systems and assist during dobutamine/stress echocardiography; perform contrast studies.
- Prepare written impressions and preliminary reports for adults and pediatric patients.
- Process and submit final data in electronic reporting tools; guide patients for follow-up or treatments.
- Place EKG leads accurately for cardiac monitoring.

- BLS; ACLS preferred.

Experience:

Job Purpose
- The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating the hospital’s surveillance systems to ensure safety, security, and order within the facility. The role supports patient-centred care by detecting, preventing, and reporting security and safety incidents in compliance with hospital policies and Kenyan legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV feeds and review recorded footage to detect suspicious activities, safety risks, or security breaches.
- Ensure continuous operation of CCTV systems and promptly report faults or malfunctions.
- Observe movements within the facility while maintaining patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
