Job Description

Thika Technical Training Institute is a Government Technical Training institute established under the Ministry of  Education, State Department for Vocational and Technical Training via certificate number MOHEST/GC/1459/011A. It stands at 45 acres of land. Its history dates back to 1949 when it was started as a vocational training center for former World War ll servicemen which was then elevated to technical high school where primary graduates were admitted for secondary education with a technical bias.

Senior Human Resource Officer

(TTTI/BOG/SHRMO/08/04/2026) – TTTI JG 9
Minimum Requirements for Appointment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field from recognized Institution.
  • Master’s Degree in the related field will be an added advantage.
  • Certificate in Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP).
  • A member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and in  standing.
  •  Five (5) years minimum Experience in the Human Resource Field or similar role.
  • Certificate in computer application skills.
  • Have proven knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System will be an added advantage.

 

Internal Auditor I

(tTTI/BOG/IA/09/04/2026-TTTI JG 7
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce (Finance or Accounting), Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Or its equivalent
  • CPA -К
  • Member of professional body ICРАК
  • Member of professional body IIA (Kenya chapter)
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
  • 4 years’ work experience in a similar or related position
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, law and regulations

 

Institute Plumber

(TTTI/BOG/IP/10/04/2026)-TTTI JG 6
Minimum Requirements

  • Craft Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent qualifications.
  •  A Diploma in the related field is an added advantage
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a Plumber
  • Knowledge and understanding of Plumbing works.
  • Computer literacy

 

Laboratories Cleaners – 4 Posts 

(TTTI/BOG/WLC/11/04/2026)-TTTI JG 3
Minimum Requirements

  • KCSE Certificate
  • Craft / Diploma Certificate in any Field will be an added advantage
  • 2 years’ working experience
  • Knowledge of occupation health and safety standards including occupation safety and health administration (OSHA) guidelines will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in workshop/laboratory Work ethics and practices will be an added advantage.
  •  Be familiar with workshop/laboratory safety regulations and confidentiality.

 

German Trainer

(TTTI/BOG/GT/12/04/2026)-TTTI JG 5
Minimum Requirements

  • Level B2 proficiency in German.
  •  Diploma in Technical Education (or equivalent pedagogical training) will be an added advantage.
  • Certificate in other languages will be an added advantage
  •  Minimum of one (1) year of experience.
