Job Description

Legal Counsel Securities

Job Description

  • Legal advisor providing support to the business in negotiating, structuring and documenting all credit related and specialized transactions.
  • Management of securities perfection for bank securities and management of approval for disbursement.
  • Management of letters of offer, term sheets, mandate letters and facility agreements for approved facilities in line with the approved lending conditions, applicable laws, regulations and bank policies.
  • Manage external lawyers’ performance to ensure efficiency including negotiation of legal fees as appropriate;
  • Securities contract management: drive contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of negotiation process, review and contract execution.
  • Conduct legal risk analysis and provide legal support for credit and securities transactions including identification of risk and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage maintenance of data, status reports, records and statistics relating to security perfection for legal securities unit (update the database on approval reworks, letter of Offers released, instructions, Charge Documents, exemptions) and to issue reports as appropriate.
  • Legal opinions and research: opinions/guidance in respect of securities matters including legal awareness training.
  • Monitoring changes in regulations and case law to ensure that the Bank’s security and advise business and credit on the implication on the changes and ensure implementation of the change in loan documentation and process.

 

Business Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects, systems, or processes.
  • Assisting in the prioritization of business requirements and defining project scope and objectives.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure that the final product meets the documented requirements and specifications.
  • Provide support to end users during implementation and post-implementation phases.
  • Monitoring the changes in baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
  • Work with senior business analysts to manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
  • Contributing to the development of test plans and test scripts as well as performing test execution to ensure the solution aligns with business needs.
  • Assist in training of end users, creation of training materials and user guides, and oversee the process of guaranteeing user acceptance and competency.

Assistant Manager, Digital Solutions & Customer Experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for digital insurance products based on market trends, customer feedback and align with overall business strategy.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are worked on and aligned with stakeholder needs and business priorities.
  • Work closely with Agile teams, including Scrum Masters, Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of product increments.

Grants Manager, CSI Project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Grantmaking and Portfolio Management

  • Grants Strategy and Design
    • Develop and update the CSI grantmaking framework, eligibility criteria, and focus areas aligned to strategic priorities.
    • Design thematic or open grant calls to support community, youth, and enterprise development goals.
  • Grant Application and Intake Management
    • Manage the grant application process for both unsolicited proposals from the public and referrals submitted through KCB Group branches.
    • Provide clear guidelines, application materials, and technical assistance to applicants.
    • Maintain a responsive, transparent, and inclusive approach to applicant engagement.
  • Evaluation and Selection
    • Lead the technical and financial review of grant applications, conducting due diligence and site assessments where needed.
    • Coordinate review processes with internal committees, ensuring alignment with policy and funding criteria.
    • Recommend grantees for approval and support contracting and onboarding.
  • Disbursement and Contract Management
