- Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Interior Designer to play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of interior design projects focused on high-quality wood products, including doors, floors, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and related items. This role involves designing different interior designs as per clients’ preference and satisfaction, collaborating with clients, coordinating various project elements, supervising installations, and ensuring projects are completed with exceptional craftsmanship, modern designs, superior customer service, timeliness and within budget.
Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with clients, architects, and other interior designers to understand clients design preferences, project requirements, specifications, and design concepts. Be the person of contact for the project.

Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in interior design, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an interior design project manager in a manufacturing or construction setting, preferably dealing with wood products.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, wood materials, and manufacturing processes.

Electrical Maintenance and Repair:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production equipment such as saws, moulders, planers, edge banders, drying kilns, hydraulic systems, and conveyors.
- Inspect and maintain motor controls, contactors, overloads, relays, and solenoids in high-dust and high-vibration environments.
- Carry out corrective and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems with minimal disruption to production.
- Service and replace electrical components such as motors, switchgear, lighting fixtures, and wiring.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive diagnostics on motors, panels, Motor Control Centers-MCCs, and switchboards.
- Maintain proper records of all maintenance tasks using maintenance logs
- Monitor and address wear and tear in equipment due to wood dust accumulation, moisture, or high usage.
Installation and Upgrades:
