Supply Chain Intern

About the Role

The Supply Chain Intern will support demand planning by analyzing parts usage data, optimizing stock re-order thresholds, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure operational continuity. This position requires strong data analysis and management skills, along with a proactive, curious, and growth-oriented mindset. This role reports directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain and Procurement and offers significant growth opportunities as BasiGo continues to scale.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning:
    • Analyze parts usage data and on-the-ground feedback from operational teams to continually optimize stock re-order threshold levels.
    • Monitor on-hand stock data against stock re-order thresholds.
    • Updating OEM part numbers in the company’s platforms
  • Ordering & Monitoring
    • Draft Purchase Orders in company’s CRM for standard replenishment and ad-hoc procurement.
    • Monitor items ordered and flag delays in sourcing
    • Draft feedback reports for suppliers on outstanding items and account credits
  • Researching New Suppliers and Products
    • Support in visiting new potential vendors and researching new potential brands for parts.
  • Supporting HoD and team on assorted daily tasks, as needed

Our ideal candidate would have:

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Management or related discipline.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage.
  • Experience using Odoo CRM is an added advantage
