Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform transactional and administrative duties for the Africa Talent Acquisition team
  • Schedule complex interviews with multiple stakeholders across time-zones using video conferencing, Microsoft Teams, and other technologies
  • Proactively communicate with the interview team, recruiter, and candidates to ensure a professional and positive candidate experience
  • Handle employee records, auditing, filing and other activities as needed
  • Support HR audits and other related compliance activities
  • Supports the coordination of talent programs administration (fellowships, internships etc.)
  • Provide HR project support including developing communications, scheduling, training assistance, and meeting set-up
  • Support new hire onboarding, including coordination of new hire documents and background checks
  • Recruit and hire talent for junior-level positions

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Talent Coordinator, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Flexibility to work within multiple time zones and multiple teams across the continent
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience with Workday
  • Good problem solving, bridge building, and diplomacy abilities
  • Comfortable managing in a flexible and changing environment
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Knowledge of French will be a plus
  • Knowledge of local labor practices and laws
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya
