Technical Sales Representative – Roof Products

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for roof products.
  • New Business Development: Proactively generate new sales opportunities via field sales, cold calling, networking, and digital channels.
  • Client Engagement: Present and demonstrate product offerings to clients, addressing technical queries and providing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by providing continuous support, guidance, and technical expertise.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide in-depth technical advice on roofing products, ensuring clients are well-informed about the features, benefits, and installation process.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive product innovation and service improvements.
  • Trade Events: Represent Classic Mouldings at trade shows, networking events, and expos to expand visibility and create sales opportunities.
  • Customer Support: Resolve client objections or complaints, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training, and industry events to stay current with best practices and product knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on roofing or technical product sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge in roofing products and construction processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
