Job Description

Yetu Sacco Society Ltd is located in Meru, Kenya. Company is working in Financial activity business activities.

JOB REF: YSL/TLS/2024

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving and paying out cash to suitably identified members;
  • Responding promptly to customer enquiries and escalating where necessary;
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of cash held versus system reports;
  • Maintain cash holding limit at all times;
  • Provide daily reports and reconciliations;
  • Achieve excellent customer satisfaction by minimizing error rate;
  • Assist in marketing of Sacco products to members;
  • Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals;
  • Comply with all department and Sacco policies, procedures and regulations;
  • Represent the Sacco in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all Members, potential Members and co-workers;
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained;
  • Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals;
  • Comply with all department and Sacco policies, procedures and regulations;
  • Answer customer inquiries and refer customers to the proper service area for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line;
  • Any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Holder of a Degree in Banking/Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Experience in a Sacco environment is an added advantage;
  • Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in dealing with both Members and employees;
  • Strong communication & organizational skills and mathematical skills;
  • Competence with computers and other office machinery;
  • Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy;
  • Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact and diplomacy in dealing with both Members and employees;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure as needed
