Territory Manager – Retail

About The Role

  • The Territory Manager – Retail, will be responsible for retail sales growth in terms of volume and profitability, expansion of our retail service stations and management of retail operations within the assigned region whilst maintaining high standards of safety and service delivery.

Key duties will include: –

  • Achievement of sales targets for all product lines in all service stations in the assigned region.
  • Identification of growth opportunities and cross-selling within the assigned region.
  • Ensuring Service Station Dealers compliance to HSSEQ standards and sustenance of a strong HSSEQ culture.
  • Ensuring statutory compliance and adherence to Company policy in the day to day management of service stations.
  • Maintaining high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Carrying out market intelligence to ensure competitiveness. 7. Prospecting and reporting of strategic stations and sites for retail expansion.
  • Preparation of monthly sales and training reports.
  • Carrying out regional training and continuous coaching in areas of product knowledge, customer service and product reception.
  • Ensuring growth and profitability of the non-fuel retail business in the assigned region.

Requirements:-

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related fields.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing preferably in the Petroleum Industry.
  • Demonstrable competence in retail sales and operations.
  • Team player with the ability to lead a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Well-developed negotiation skills.
  • Strong background in analytical skills.
