Job Description

St. Paul’s University is an ecumenical private chartered university founded in 1903. It is strategically located in the lush Kiambu County along Nairobi-Limuru Route A, 30kms from Nairobi, next to Jumuia Conference and Country Home with other campuses in Nairobi, Nakuru and Machakos. It is in a cool and serene environment that is very conducive for learning.

Tutorial Fellow – Nursing

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in teaching, student assessement, preparation of instructional materials and examinations
  • Mentor and guide students in academic, spiritual and profession growth
  • Participate in departmental meeetings, curriculum development and other unviersity activites as assigned
  • Participate in Nursing research, publications and academic conferences
  • Conduct didactic and clinical instruction to nursing students

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of a Master of Science Degree in the following Nursing Specialities(Medical Surgical, Community Health, Curriculum and instruction, Midwifery).
  • Have strong supervision skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong teaching and presentation skills
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Good organizational and teamwork abilities
  • Computer literacy
  • High Level of Integrity, professionalism, and Christian Values
  • 2 years experience in Clinical and Didactic Instructions
  • Must have a Valid Practising License
  • Registered by the Nursing Council Of Kenya
