Job Description

Africa Merchant Assurance Company Limited was incorporated in Kenya and licensed to transact General insurance business. It was licensed and began full operations in the year 2000. It has a team of highly qualified, experienced and dynamic staff who render personalized, efficient and professional insurance services. Our operations are on a specifically tailored computer system organized to render the most efficient service to customers. We pride ourselves on strong asset base and unique countrywide branch network ensuring top quality services to our clients.

Unit Managers

As a Unit Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales performance, building and mentoring sales teams, and ensuring that AMACO continues to deliver service beyond the obvious.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, train, and mentor independent agents and direct sales force.
  • Drive achievement of manpower and sales targets.
  • Source and grow sustainable business for the company.
  • Expand and manage the business portfolio in line with set targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum KCSE grade C plain.
  • Diploma or Degree in a business-related field (added advantage).
  • Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in insurance sales.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
