Job Description

Job Summary:

Our client sells alcohol wholesale. The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products directly to customers, ensuring optimal distribution and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek new customers and develop strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Conduct regular visits to retailers and other potential clients to promote products and generate sales.
  • Set and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
  • Utilize persuasive selling techniques to influence customer purchasing decisions.
  • Stay informed about the features and benefits of our FMCG products.
  • Provide accurate information and educate customers on product specifications.
  • Receive and process customer orders promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure adequate product availability and manage inventory levels in the van.
  • Efficiently plan and organize daily routes to maximize time and reach all assigned sales locations.
  • Monitor and manage van stock levels to meet demand.
  • Gather information on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Provide regular feedback to the sales team and management on market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions and orders.
  • Submit timely and detailed sales reports to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in FMCG sales or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with the assigned sales territory is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills for order processing and reporting.
