Job Description

Mantrac Kenya Ltd. is the sole authorized dealer for Caterpillar Products in Kenya. Mantrac Kenya Ltd. distributes and supports the full range of CAT construction equipment including Wheel Loaders, Skid Steer oaders, Dump Articulated Trucks, Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, Motor Graders, Track-TypeTractors, BCP products

JOB OUTLINE:

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for conducting the basic day to day operations in the Warehouse, Stock taking and Keeping of inventory and good warehouse practices.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  To receive materials with 100% accuracy, pick and pack orders
  •  To put away parts into the nominated “bin” location with 100% accuracy
  •  Ensure all interactions with the system (Man/Pro) are 100% accurate
  •  To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  •  To achieve the standards and targets set by the Warehouse Supervisor
  •  Duties may include repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Degree in logistics/ related field with four years’ experience with strong product and parts knowledge
  •  Good analytical and Microsoft Office proficiency and experience in specialized ERP systems as well as third party systems for courier shipments
  •  Clear understanding of and practice of Warehouse Operations
