Warehouse and Logistics Head

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch of products.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective distribution to customers and distributors.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and implement effective stock control procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and operational workflows.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage transport planning and coordinate with third-party logistics providers where applicable.
  • Analyze logistics performance and prepare operational reports and KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation planning.
  • Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
